Antique Late 1800's WC Davis & Co Cinti O Cast Iron Skillet #7 Heat Ring 1 Spout
7 cast iron skillet from the mid-to-late 1800s, or possibly the early 1900s. I bought the skillet in this condition, and have not used it or attempted to clean, restore, or season it Bottom says W. Has some light pitting of the cooking surface. The last 4 photos taken with the skillet turned at 90. Angles without and with background light show that the cooking surface is still quite flat. The last 2 photos are taken with a bright light behind the ruler, so that light will shine through any low spots on the surface. From Google: Founded in 1848 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the W. Davis Company specialized in manufacturing cast iron heating stoves and cookware. The company changed its name after the Civil War, indicating that the cast iron pans marked with W. Were likely produced between 1848 and the late 1800s. See photos for condition details. This is the item you will receive. Message me if you need additional photos. We use recycled packing materials whenever possible.
