Antique Railroad Sign Clearance Warning Cast Iron 17 7/8 X 10.5 X 1/2 21 Lbs

  

"OBSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT CLEAR MAN ON SIDE OF CAR". This rare sign was historically used in industrial settings, particularly around railroads or other areas where machinery and equipment might be in close proximity to workers. It served as a critical safety warning to personnel who might be riding on the side of a train car or other moving equipment, indicating that there isn't enough clearance for them to pass safely between the equipment and any nearby obstructions. Sign measures 17 7/8" x 10 1/2" x 1/2 Thick.

Weighs just over 20 pounds. It used to be painted yellow and there is remnants of the original color. Had two holes on the side for mounting. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible.
