7 Vintage Cast Iron Southern Mystery Skillet (SMS) Advertising Zeigler. Skillet has been stripped down to bare metal using electrolysis, reseasoned at least three times with vegetable oil. Pan is ready to use or display.

Skillet is a southern mystery skillet, has the two small poor spouts typical of Southern mystery skillets, is embossed on the top of the handle with the company name Zeigler. On backside of Skillet has heat ring, the raised letter O, which was the mold Maker's Mark, the handle is a smashed T handle. Skillet measures 14.75 in long with handle, 2 in deep, 9 and 7/8 of an inch wide. Skillet weighs 3.83 lbs, very light, indicative of the antique skillets.

The cooking surface is very nice for its age at 9 o'clock there is some ticking the Pan shows utensil marks, there is signs of casting flaws in it which is typical of the time period. The skillet has slight back to front movement corrected with a sheet of paper. This is extremely nice piece of vintage advertising.
