There is a small amount of sulphur dage on back of skillet. Cooking surface is very smooth with minimal utensil scratches. Skillet was cleaned using a lye bath and seasoned once with canola oil for one hour at 400 degrees.
You may want to add a couple more layers of seasoning according to how you will be using it. Please look at pictures carefully to judge condition for yourself.
