Vintage Le Creuset'E' Dark Brown Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot 4.5 Quart Ridges Lid Made in France. This vintage round cast iron pot is clearly stamped on the bottom of the cookware as well as the inside of the lid. It is in nice used condition for its age; the cooking surface shows some discoloration and some surface scratches from use and the bottom of the Dutch oven has some signs of use in between the raised ridges that might be removed with a cleaning. There is one very small enamel chip on the outside lip of the pot and one enamel chip on the bottom of the pot near the edge of one of the ridges. Le Creuset eventually replaced the bottom that has the raised ridges with a flat non-enameled surface and also replaced the letter with a number designation for its size.

The brown enameling on the pot and lid is in remarkably nice condition. The Dutch oven has a diameter of 9 1/2 inches and is 4 1/4 inches deep. This large quality cast iron round Dutch oven and lid is ready to be used and enjoyed.
