Ntique Goose-Neck cast iron pot with matched lid in steel. 19th Century, American Civil War era. Bears a size and makers mark NO.

00 &'L' in diamond surround on the bottom. This is a rare small 12 ounce pot. An American vintage version of the traditional English Kendrick or Swain brand cooking pots. It includes the original steel cooking lid with handle. In overall good condition with some finish wear overall, light surface rusting in places, and traces of Japanning left on handle.

A wooden'extension' handle would be inserted within the steel handle and utilized. Pot is 3.75" across and 3.5" tall, metal part of the handle is about 6 long. See all photos of this beautiful pot!
