We are pleased to offer for your consideration a previously owned and used VINTAGE / ANTIQUE GRISWOLD BIG BLOCK LOGO CAST IRON SKILLET # 12 with INSET HEAT RING and LIFT TAB. This skillet is marked on the bottom: CAST IRON SKILLET 12 Griswold Big Block logo ERIE PA. 719; 12 on the top of the handle. It has been carefully cleaned and restored, ready to use after seasoning.

CONDITION: This pan is in very good clean used condition with no pitting, no cracks, no warping, no damage or repairs noted. The cooking surface is straight but due to wear on the heat ring, it has a very slight wobble on a hard glass surface which can be easily corrected by placing 1 sheet of copy paper under the heat ring at the handle. The cooking surface is very smooth to the touch, but it does have some utensil scratches which will fill in with seasoning and use.

The bottom of this skillet was not polished at the foundry, so you can see the flow of the iron which has some slight roughness. MEASUREMENTS: This skillet measures approximately 14 3/16" across pour spout to pour spout; 18 3/4" long from tip of handle to outer edge of lift tab; 2 1/2 high on the outside; cooking surface approx.
