(1925 - 1990) by Ronald Freeman, photojournalist for the National Geographic Magazine. A few photos from the foundry appear in his collection at the Folk Life Department of the Smithsonian Institute. This vintage cast iron (pig iron) decoy duck for sale, was made in a foundry located either on Keystone and Brenner St, in Philadelphia, PA. Most ducks were made in the 1950's, for family and friends by one of my family members.

The mold used in the picture above originated at the foundry in Grenloch NJ. Great for decorating a fireplace hearth or outside in a garden or deck. With the duck: You will receive a nice quality photo of the cover from National Geographic, as seen in the 5th picture down, the photo of the ducks being poured and the tags you see attached to the bottom of the duck, descripting them. Institute or that the foundry itself was in the Nation Geographic Magazine.
